Description

He hates me for some reason. I will not rest until I change his mind.

People always like me. It's kind of my thing. All the employees at my tech startup think I'm the best boss, and the community partners and investors I woo not only trust, but adore me.

Everyone likes me, except him.

I may have been caught off guard when I accidentally insulted AJ Trachtenberg, but I'm pulling out all the stops trying to make it up to him…and it's not working. Offering his students a swanky field trip doesn't win him over—it only seems to make him grumpier.

Unfortunately, grumpy looks very good on him. AJ is tall, dark, and annoyingly handsome and he's got a giant chip on his shoulder. Honestly, his smoldering is distracting.

I can't afford any distractions right now, not with the media hounding me as I try to take my company public. Maybe I can swing a one-time naked distraction, though. That doesn't have to mean anything, right? I'm not looking for a happily-ever-after here. I'm just trying to get him out of my head.

Alas, when it comes to business and bossy men, I have trouble letting go.

Fireball is the laugh-out-loud first stand-alone installment of the Bridges and Bitters series. If you love found family, hilarious antics, and off-the-charts heat, you'll devour these sexy romantic comedies.

I so desperately wanted to know what coffee was used, anyone else? Overall I really liked this book. I loved the range of characters and funny snippets throughout the story.

I wanted to love this book. But it was just a little all over the place. Everything was glanced over quickly. The family issues and past relationship were mentioned and somewhat discussed but it could’ve gone deeper. Plus they seemed to hate each other and not really interact much the whole first half of the book. I liked the idea of the female ceo and male teacher but it overall just missed the mark.

Way to heavy handed with the far left virtue signaling. It really took away from the story.

Couldn’t get pass the first the first 2 chapters. I don’t have a problem with people being who they are or doing them as long as they aren’t hurting anyone. That being said I believe that EVERYONE has a right to like or dislike whatever and others don’t have a right to push their beliefs or views on them. When I am reading which I do because I love to read I don’t want to read would like the author to be honest about the content of the book. I think teaching kids to call a person them/they if they are referring to one person. So now what you gonna reteach English pronouns and the meaning?? I don’t want to read about two males or females having sex. And I am not mad if they don’t want to read about a male and female. And I don’t like people trying to one at me because I disagree with them. I feel everyone has a right to their opinions, feelings etc

I’m 20% in, and just can’t continue reading. The 2 main characters are not likable at all. It’s a no for me.

Wow I was not expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. It was very cute and nicely developed in my opinion, I personally finished it in one sitting. Sam was just excepcional to me, very driven and passionate despite her family. The romance aspect was pretty good, it never felt forced or too fast. I’m really impressed by how entertaining this book was.
