Description

All paths lead to destruction in the new Torpedo Ink novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

Savin “Savage” Pajari is convinced he’s not worth a damn thing. He’s not like his brothers. He’s a sadistic monster, a killer—a man no woman could truly love. So it completely throws him when a stranger risks her life for his, pushing him out of the way and taking the hit that would have sent him six feet under. If he had any kind of sense, he’d leave her alone, but Savage can’t get the woman with a smart mouth and no sense of self-preservation out of his head. With one kiss, he’s lost.

Seychelle Dubois has spent her entire life not feeling much of anything, until Savage comes along and sets her whole body on fire. Kissing him was a mistake. Letting him get close would be a catastrophe. He’s the most beautiful—and damaged—man she’s ever met. He has a way of getting under her skin, and what he’s offering is too tempting to resist.

Seychelle knows so little about Savage or the dangerous world of Torpedo Ink, but his darkness draws her like a moth to a flame. Loving him could mean losing herself completely to his needs—needs she doesn’t understand but is eager to learn. But what Savage teaches her could destroy her.

I’ve been dying for his story wondering how it would go. I was not disappointed by all the ups and downs I want everything to work for them! Savage will always be one of my favorites!

I love Torpedo Ink. It’s one of my favorite character series and “families” I’ve ever read. But this was very disappointing. Extremely repetitive character dialog promising brutal narcissistic harm to a terminally ill empath and healer. Nothing to trust and no support. An extremely vile and depressing read.

Great book as always! I usually hate cliffhangers but it helps to know that the next part isn’t too far away.
  • Good intro to their relationship

Wasn’t sure how this book would play out with Savage obviously being one of the most damaged of Torpedo Ink, but Feehan really pulled in all parts of his personality and character that was seen in previous books and created such a wonderful story for him and Seychelle. I do think that it was toned down some, which was understandable because of his tastes and needs. I’m sure the next book won’t hold back. But this book was just enough that if anyone doesn’t want the much more darker sides, they can skip over to the next one that comes out which I think was very smart on Feehans part to not alienate or make her readers uncomfortable. This book gave insight into current and future possible relationships and also glimpses of the characters we knew from previous books which is always nice. Definitely worth the wait

I love Savage and Seychelle! I fully invested in their story now. There were parts I wanted to cry at but I was/am rooting for them! I’m loving the dive into Savage’s “darker side” and how both of them are working towards a common place for them both to be happy and satisfied. I’m so looking forward to the next book!
