Motion and Magnets is part of the Smithsonian Science Stories Literacy Series. Motion and Magnets features short stories that pair with the module, How Can We Predict Patterns of Motion? Both are aligned to grade 3 standards and have a focus on science and engineering. In Motion and Magnets, students will read about how forces can cause objects to move, patterns of motion of everyday objects, and the importance of magnets in their lives.
