Don’t miss Matt Haig’s latest instant New York Times besteller, The Life Impossible, available now

Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better?

In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig's enchanting blockbuster novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. Faced with the possibility of changing her life for a new one, following a different career, undoing old breakups, realizing her dreams of becoming a glaciologist; she must search within herself as she travels through the Midnight Library to decide what is truly fulfilling in life, and what makes it worth living in the first place.

No sooner after I bought the book and read the first chapter I regretted buying it. It’s a good storyline kinda reminds me of the Christmas Carol. It’s very much like the Christmas Carol. I thought I would like it. I had high hopes to like the book because of the content and looking at life if you chose a different life, which is kind of what I’m going through now. But the story didn’t interest me. I pretty much rushed to read the book since I paid for it and I wasn’t gonna waste money and not read it. Maybe others will like it or liked it, but it wasn’t for me.

This book is a perspective changer. If you have ever dwelled on what could have been or deeply regretted something and these thoughts eat at you… I highly encourage you to take a leap of faith and read this book. Although fiction, it makes you take a look at your life in a different light. Brilliant. Inspiring.

Stumbled upon Midnight Library and ended up loving it. I tend to be someone that wonders about all of the lives I could live, and loved the sense of belonging in the present this book showed. Would definitely recommend.
