Description

Professional surfer Mikki Tanaka didn't want to leave her beloved Hawaii, the ocean waves, or the vibrant sea life she's worked so hard to protect. But her protests and aggressive tactics didn't mesh with the law and she's found herself behind bars. Her choice? Ten years in jail or life as an Interstellar Bride. Never one to shy away from adventure, she decides to take her chances in the stars—with not one, but two sexy-as-hell alpha warriors on The Colony.

Surnen, a Prillon Warrior and trusted doctor, has been waiting for a bride for years. Banished to The Colony, he’s given up all hope, until a black-haired Earth beauty instantly steals his heart and his breath. But the highly disciplined doctor likes protocols and control, in bed and out of it. His second and an equally ruthless warrior, Captain Trax, agrees. Unfortunately, their new mate has a wild streak, a thirst for danger, and an appetite for violence that both shocks and thrills them. When her penchant for stirring up trouble brings danger to The Colony, they’ll stop at nothing to save her.

Nothing at all.

Loved it. Great addition to the series but can Read well as a stand alone. The heroine strengths saved the day! Received free copy of this book via book sprout for leaving a review.

Another excellent addition to the fantastic Interstellar Brides series! I loved Mikki, Surnen and Trax! I adored how Mikki, Surnen and Trax finally figured out that together they were so much better than apart. I loved seeing Surnen lose some of his bluster due to finally giving into his feelings for Mikki--that she and Trax balanced him. And that a balance of control--give and take--is powerful and wonderful when freely given. I loved seeing the three of them compromise and realize that love and family are just as important as work--if not more!

Her Cyborg Warriors (Interstellar Brides Program: The Colony Book 8)- Grace Goodwin The Interstellar Brides books that take place on The Colony (this is Book 8), are often more emotionally heart wrenching and also the most rewarding. The warriors on The Colony are from all different planets in the Coalition as they war against the Hive. These warriors have been captured by the Hive and modified in different ways with their mechanical integrations. The men are usually scarred emotionally as well as physically as they have been banned to this planet for having these integrations and are separated from their family. Most feel shame and embarrassment because of their integrations. In this book two Prillion warriors, Dr. Surnam (dedicated, focused, goes strictly by the rules) and his second Captain Trax ( highly embarrassed by the integrations) are finally matched with a mate. They tested for the Interstellar Brides program years ago and to their amazement and surprise have been sent a mate. Mikki Tanaka is a feisty woman, smart talking take no prisoners, adventurous and extremely devoted to protecting the sea and it’s inhabitants. She was a professional champion surfer who retired after one too many head injuries. She became an environmental specialist and has gone to extreme measures to protect those who can’t protect themselves. After bombing holes in several whaling ships she was sent to jail for ten years. The Interstellar Brides Program offered her a way out if she would become a mate in their program. To her surprise during her testing she found she not only liked males who were a bit controlling but having two was even hotter. All three main characters have issues physically and mentally, that have made it difficult to form deep bonds. With Mikki they find a way to heal, care and love once again. Despite her bold sassy, in your face behavior Mikki comes to care and understand these proud warriors. She views their integrations as style scars they should be proud of. She herself has many scars from her surfing career. Despite instant physical attraction love was a slow build up that was further put to the test when Mikki ends up in danger and thye must work together overcoming fears and insecurities to save not only Mikki but all three. This was a page turner fast paced read all night book with amazing world building . We meet fantastic yet broken characters who yeh author has flushed out throughout the entire book as they learn how to heal and become whole together. It has all the hot passionate steamy scenes as well as the whole range of emotions, action , danger, humor and love. Another great trip to The Colony.

Mikki had committed a crime on earth and was given a choice., ten years prison or a bride program with aliens. She chose to become a bride. Surnen had given up on the possibility of ever procuring a bride with his second Trax. But then they received her. Mikki tried to resist their dominance but realized that was what she needed after all. Fun and exciting adventure I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hotter than hot with a bad A heroine. Right from the start we get the bride testing fantasy. So, it starts off blazing. I particularly liked Mikki Tanaka. She’s feisty, smart and fearless. She’s a surfer who ended up in the slammer trying to protect the ocean. So, it’s the interstellar bride program (it beats jail). And two, count them two, mates. Sumen and Trax, perfect foils for Mikki. Super hot and whew, bring the fan and some ice cubes. You’re gonna need it. Steam level blazing. I think Mikki is my favorite lead so far. Recommend.

Another Interstellar Brides book. I really enjoy this series that Grace has created. You never know which species you will be reading about next. So many hunky aliens and customs to choose from. In this story we meet Mikki, Surnen and Trax both are Prillon. It is another good read and don’t forget about the Hive...they are still out there causing havoc.

After losing a court case Mikki is given two options, serve ten years in prison or sign up as a interstellar bride. She choses to be a bride and meets her two mates Surnen, who is primary, and Trax who is secondary and they are both Prillons. The three of them have thirty days to decide if they match and want to become permanently mated. It is a well written and entertaining story that holds your attention to the end. There is a HEA but a lot happens first and that is what makes it a great read. I would highly recommend this book.
