Garrett, no matter how much he talked about sex & stuff, had to have the patience of a Saint the way Rachel was around him. Rachel had hard lessons to learn and her dead husband’s mother was a creep!!!! The book was too wordy and felt like a 3 hour movie about too many little things. I got the distinct impression the folks were Arkansas mountain folks (some people call them hillbillies), because of the way they talked and lived. I found them to be endearing, the whole lot of them.

Once I started reading I couldn’t stop. The best book full of life’s ups, downs, twists and turns. Happy ever after with ready made family. Loved it. As you are reading you are seeing, living and hearing it in your mind. Wonderful writing.

I enjoyed spending a few evenings with Garrett and Rachel . I laughed out loud shed a tear or two and hated having to put it down when it was late.

I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to read not only a beautiful story, but also well written. My mother had a command of the King’s english and I’m appalled by books edited by google and spell check. Thank you!

I like a book where I can’t what’s next

I loved this book. From beginning to end a great read. I admire this author Thank you Jackie Weger for sharing you bio and writing talent.

This is the first book I’ve read by Jackie Weger and I’m absolutely in Love with this Author! I love her writing style, attention to detail and down to earth humor. It’s hard to find a good book with so much detail. I felt like I was standing right there with Rachel and Garrett. Life is full of ups and downs and this book had it all. A Must Read!!
