What can I say, Ever and Deck have my heart. This was a gut twisting in depth story of a child women drained of all kindness and respect, but rather wilt and die she strived. I didn’t understand the tattoos, but the thought was deep. And I do not believe there is redemption for some actions, because evil spiteful people never change. But I get the true meaning, Ever didn’t need their acceptance she gained her own peace and closure.

The pain and healing woven throughout this book struck a chord deep within me. I’ve already read it twice in a few months’ time. Highly recommend!

Definitely a good read but it was full of drama! I literally cried. Very well written.

Different kind of MC novel. I went through all the emotions reading it. There were a few times where it felt like the author was repeating but it was still 5 star read.

Such a different take on a MC romance. I laughed, I cried and I loved it.

While I did love the potential of this storyline the whole book centered on the heroine and how she was done wrong when she was young and she couldn’t get over it. Deck was very likable but I just didn’t like Ever(the heroine). Ever was always moping and depressed but yet every man that came in contact with her was drawn to her!! I know these books play on fantasy but this was almost too unbelievable. I will read the next because I did like this authors ideas and writing style, just not the heroine.

Heed the author’s warning about tissues! Beautiful story of a long road to forgiveness. Deck shows Ever (yes that’s her name, odd as it is) how to be strong!
