    Vance is undercover for the FBI, and meets Lauren and her friend Marcy on the beach in The Shores Alabama. The girls are escaping Michigan for an undetermined time with Marcy`s grandma Yaya. Vance is trying to bring down his fathers sex trafficking operation. Vance and his buddies jobs are to convince women to become prostitutes and the be sold by Marcus.

    The relationship between Vance & Lauren was sweet, I liked the way he took his time with her. I feel bad for Colby, interested to see how that plays out. I hope Brooke does a separate book on Marcy & Colt, I was intrigued by their relationship as well.

    “Rush” by Brooke Page was an excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed the way this story was written. I found some of the content to be relatable but much of it was new to me and introduced me to a world I am thankful I know little of in real life. It was unusual with elements of love and dark undertones. I appreciated that it was not a cookie cutter, typical romance novel.

    What a suspenseful book. It’s not a type of book I normally,read, but the way it’s written, it keeps pulling you in. Can’t wait to read the rest, just hope Marcus gets taken down. Rush Brooke Page Book Bub

    I like the mild suspense. I love Lauren’s character and her innocence. I also love Marcy and Colt. I can’t wait to see how this ends!

    I have thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. I started reading this book later in the morning, and seriously could not go to sleep without finishing it. What a storyline! I am absolutely itching to read the rest of the series. I am anxious to see how Marcus gets what’s coming to him. I can’t wait to find out how Vance saves Lauren from becoming a Dove, at least that’s what I want to happen. And I’m hoping they find their happily ever after with each other before the end of the series!

    I love the mystery about Vance and the relationship that’s developing between him and Lauren. Can’t wait to see what happens next with Vance and his father Marcus and how this will all play out for Lauren and Marcus’ human trafficking ring.
