Description

★★★★ "If you're looking for a lighthearted space saga, then this is definitely a book you're going to want to pick up." - Literary Titan -=- Wil Calder is looking for a crew. He isn’t being picky. He should be. With a crew of misfits from across the Galactic Commonwealth, Wil takes a job. Break into a space station. Straightforward enough. A space station that the galaxy’s criminals use to store their loot. An untested crew. A heist. What could go wrong? As often happens, Wil and new his crew get more than they bargained for. A lot more. Like galactic conspiracy, more. Now it’s up to a bunch of misfits and the only human to leave our solar system to save the Galactic Commonwealth from civil war. No pressure, right? -=- RECOMMENDED "This is an accessible and highly readable science fiction tale that relies on speculative technology and imagined scenarios but is never bogged down in heavy concepts or complex astrophysics."- US Review of books "This was pure Flash Gordon space opera stuff, and the author kept the story moving at a fast pace with characters the reader will love." - Pulp Den

That’s enough on the plot to let you know that I enjoyed this story. There were some leaps and some odd places where the story repeated verbatim which made me wonder if I’d already read that page but I hadn’t. It was enjoyable though and a good way to pass the afternoon.

It was fun reading as the characters developed and evolved. The ending was a little too abrupt, but it was a fun and funny trip.
