McLinn’s ability to weave together past and present, and entwine people in her storylines, makes this book a unique and thoughtful read. Looking forward to more!

This mystery kept me guessing, which is how I like them. It is book 1 of a three book set. Each book has changes in location and focuses on different sets of characters that are tied to the central mystery. Patricia McLinn’s characters age in knowledge and attitudes and are changed by the story.

Every thing Ms McLinn writes is golden. Read them all.

This story has good intentions but I had to force myself to keep reading in hopes it would get better. Too much dialogue. Not enough romance or suspense. Didn’t get good until 350 pages in.....

A tightly constructed multiple murder mystery. Red herrings throughout. Very well written which is required to move me past the first chapter.
