Keeps You Guessing

The mystery keeps you guessing until it’s solved! And the ending is certainly a worthy character resolution. I felt good when I finished the book!
I’m not sure if I would read it again. The character interactions when it came to the case itself felt forced. As did the speed of their relationship due to his bullying his way into protecting her. There are just some things that make the characters more awkward than they have to be, especially in what is in fact a pretty great story.
Still, if you’re looking for a good read, the ending was worth working through and I was happy I downloaded it.

New Orleans is a setting that allows so many plot possibilities. The romance between an FBI agent and victim of a failed kidnapping walk a thin line between a professional and personal relationship.

No Angel (Louisiana Lawmen Book 3) by Mallory Kane. This is Alexandra “Allie” Tyler and FBI Special Agent Danny DeLuca’s story.
This story was entertaining and the chemistry between Danny and Allie was off the charts. Plus, the suspense in this story kept me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed Danny and Allie’s characters.
This is book three in the Louisiana Lawmen series but can be read as a stand-alone. If you enjoy romantic suspense reads, then you don’t want to miss this one.
FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
