This book was certainly more than I expected. It kept me enthralled, so much so that I read it in its entirety in less than 24 hours. The descriptions of magic were vivid and consistent, and kept me wondering what else was possible.

Of all the m/m books I’ve read this is still by far the best trilogy yet. Great world building, complex characters, great story. I totally ship these two!!!!

Was a bit hesitant as magic is not my genre, but the world building is so good and interesting that I picked up the second book immediately.

What a refreshing breath of fresh air. The Magpie Lord is captivating from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read the next volume in the series.
