I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story. It has lots of Greek mythology and speaks of many different gods and goddesses throughout time. It’s interesting to hear the potential background of Circe, how she came to her powers, how she’s interacted with man, and what happens to her in the end.

Spectacular. Thank you, Madeline Miller. For my own sake, I wish you were immortal so that you could rethink and tell us the stories of all the Greek gods and Goddesses, all the mortal heavy hitters we know of and love.

Absolutely gripping narrative all the way through

Great mythological fiction.

This novel was eloquently written, and the characters were very compelling. I did not want to leave the world once I finished reading. Highly recommend!

I found this book fascinating. I had never read about Greek mythology before and was interested about the topic. Really enjoyed the story and understood more of what I had heard.

I used to read a book a week a decade ago. Slowly the habit dropped. Circe helped me pick it back up. It matched my recent interest in Greek Mythology because I played about 100 hours of Assassins Creed Odyssey. This book expanded by knowledge while also entertaining. Language was beautiful in some places and most relatable in all.

I savored every word of this beautifully told story of Circe, the divine and empathetic witch. I couldn’t put this book down.

A little slow at times but overall a good read. very interesting for those who read the Odyssey as it gives you a whole new perspective!
