Description

Left alone at Marlow House with Sadie and Max, Walt expects Danielle and Lily to return by the end of the week. When they don’t, he begins to wonder what happened to them.

The ghost of Marlow House doesn’t scare six-year-old Evan MacDonald. When the child sneaks into the house in the middle of the night, seeking Walt’s help, the resident spirit learns something has happened to Danielle and Lily.

Can a ghost confined to Marlow House and a pint-sized medium bring the people they love home?

I like these books for nice characters and easy, quick reads but they are usually painfully predictable. In that respect, the mysteries have slowly improved in the last 3 of the series, including this one.

This story was a good reading to enjoy. The beginning starts off slow, but the middle and end is what starts to get interesting for Danielle and her friends. Relationships grow better throughout the story and some don’t, which was a good twist and turn to this story. Overall, this installment was well told and a good enjoyment to read.
