Absolutely captivating!

Landing somewhere between 4 and 4 1/2 stars! This is my first read by Lisa Jewell and I have to say that this was a great read. What I appreciate most about this novel is that it is different than many of the thrillers I have read with the traditional murder mystery plot. While there is a crime aspect, the author does a phenomenal job in keeping a lot of the plot twists more subliminal but still captivating. Well done by Lisa Jewell!

The intricate plot was expertly woven together and well paced. The characters were so well developed and nuanced that they brought an emotional richness to the story. I loved this book!

What a surprise to go out of my comfort zone and read a book by an author I knew nothing about!

Writing was a bit corny… but story did speed up and get really good eventually

Definitely worth the read. I could not put this one down. I just wish we could write our own endings sometimes.

I thought I knew where it was going but it went where I never could anticipate! My new favorite writer!
