Sweet, funny, chaotic, and full of romance and danger, this historical romance leads in many directions but all comes together under love.

Very enjoyable, well rounded characters and good dialogue. The men are a little, ok a lot eccentric. Unexpectedly good background and movement throughout the story without losing the pace of reading.

I liked this stories characters enough to look forward to more. This books plot a bit slow and sensual details weak.

I am an avid reader, but this is my first online book review. Patricia Rice is a master story teller. I always fall in love with her characters. Read any of her books that get your attention, you won’t regret it!

There is more magic in this book then can be found in the stars. It’s a fun filled, secretly sweet, and very entertaining read. I enjoyed every chapter. Aster and Theo are perfect together!

Patricia Rice has written a riveting, fun novel. The characters are wonderful. The plot has great twists and turns. The situations of the times are well documented and described with verve and energy. I loved every word. I highly recommend this terrific book.

It’s a period piece and I’m not too fond of those that go into depth with all the titles of the characters and it seems to get lost in translation and slows the flow, but not with this book. To see the story take flight and soar, then it levels out a bit only to dive and take flight again… was entertaining. To say that it kept me on the edge of my seat is an understatement. I laughed, got angry and frustrated… and laughed and cheered again. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series. “
