  • Build a Bulletproof Fitness Routine!

    By Morpheus32393
Martin Meadows has a style of writing about Self-improvement that is well-researched, well-explained and uber-practical. In this book on exercise, he not only uses scientific resources and well-known experts on habit creation and health but also his own extra-ordinary experiences and expertise to help the reader consider and craft the kind of Fitness habits and routines that will lead to real success. After reading the book cover—to-cover, I found the content is totally in line with what I am reading from others and find a lot of confidence and courage in reading his own journey to disciplined exercise. If you are looking to build bulletproof routines that you can enjoy and stick with, I highly recommend this book.
  • Great book on the topic

This is the fifth Martin Meadows book I've read and I've enjoyed them all. The author provided a free copy to me asking for an honest review in return, so here it is. (The review wasn't influenced by the free copy. You can easily find my previous reviews of his books which pre-date this free copy on the other main electronic book store). If you've read one of his books before, you'll be familiar with the format. If not, you may want to download the free sample for the Kindle and give it a try. I enjoy his writing style and find the books to be useful. He tends to write shorter books (they can be read in an hour or two) that focus on a particular subject and highlight the relevant research into the topic, along with extensive footnoting of his sources. This book has six chapters, each focusing on a different aspect of exercising: How to get motivated to exercise, How to find time to exercise, How to stay motivated, How to enjoy exercise, How to improve recovery and Misc exercise-related topics. I tend to find several good nuggets in each of his books and this is no different. I like his kindle books for reference, and tend to highlight/bookmark them much more than usual, to refer to later. I feel like each of his books has been relevant to me and I've taken something away from each of them that was was worth the price of the book.

Dear Martin, happy to say, this is the best book I have read on exercise. You given so many motivations in this book to consider. The techniques are really practical and simple to follow. Takes away all the excuses that my mind makes to ban exercise. No excuses left to quit exercise. I highly recommend this book to all who make decisions to exercise, they start but quit in the middle. This book gives so many choices and opportunities that bans all excuses not to exercise. Now I can continue exercising, without skipping any session and to enjoy it at the same time.
